Eli C Muller : OFN movie

Instantly, I’m thinking from the look of the poster that this is a scary movie. I say that due to the growing cyborg with sharp teeth and razor nails. I had to read the movie plot to really get a sense of what the poster was about. Really I wanted to see what OFN stood for, if it was an acronym. I still don’t know as the plot only has the three letters as well.

I liked that the movie poster seems to jump out at you. I think that this would be cool for like a 3D movie. Especially the way that green jumps off the poster. The picture/design made me want to look further into the movie which is cool. I think that movie monsters should make you want to that and not just skip over. I do like how the letters are done at the bottom. I think that they fit the theme.

I am not sure I agree with the color scheme of the burgundy type background. I’m not sure if it’s a design of flames or what. I think that the background with that glowing green could have been left white or black. The head of the robot and the body don’t match. It looks like the head was photoshopped to the body of the robot because the body of the robot is blurry and the face is clear. I’m shocked but I would actually want to watch this movie to see what happens to OFN. It’d be cool if the other brothers were on this poster too, somewhere in the background or something. But I understand why it’s only him as the story is about him.

Stranger Things Movie Poster

When asked to pick a favorite movie poster, I instantly thought of Stranger things. I love the color scheme of the movie and the time setting. The dark colors just mesh together in a complementing way. The eye draws to a missing friend due to the lights on the bikes pointed in that direction. The poster is just balanced.

This was a fun article to read. I can totally relate to John Hoke's way of processing and listening to people by way of doodling. I am not sure why this makes me pay attention more, rather than just keeping my eyes on people. I think that honing in on something makes me more alert. I appreciate that Hoke did not allow his disability of dyslexia to set him back and not succeed at anything. He didn't see it as a burden, but a gift. Most people would look down on what they had, rather than flipping the script and finding another way to do something you probably had no idea you could do or be good at. Doodling is his way of communicating. I love that! His perspective was super positive.  He took what he loved to do and made a career out of it. Always thinking about the next best thing. I think that a lot of people's best inventions tend to stem from either what they love to do or how they can make something better. He even went as far as reaching out to Nike, which I think was
