Hmwk #7

At first I didn’t know where this video was going and thought that it was going to be a bit boring actually. Maybe it was how slow the speaker started off trying to explain these paintings he ended up reinventing. I was trying to grasp the point of the video. As the video kept going he became a little more relatable in stating that he had to complete these drawings how he best saw art. Two points were brought up: 1. There needs to be a willingness to expose oneself to a critical audience and not to suggest confidence about what one is doing. 2. Select two drawings for the price of one.  The point is bring the idea of doubt into graphics. He was pretty vulnerable when it came to not knowing how to complete the one project and he let his audience know that, although that usually is a big no no.  I think it leaves rooms for greater expression. This turned out to be a great video.

I honestly hope to learn more about computer graphics, in order to link this knowledge with Photography. I also would love to take my knowledge and teach youth in inner cities as an outlet for them. I want to work for myself as well as collaborate with inner city youth programs to give youth exposure on a subject that is not typically provided in school. Who is your favorite artist? I do not have a favorite...
